If my future wife gained over 15 pounds then then I would slap her with divorce papers so fast that she would not know what hit her.

Then you have couples like the wife and I. I think she would be so ashamed and disgusted with herself if she got so overweight that she no longer looked good/fit/sexy. As it is already if she gains 3-5 pounds she feels like a "fat cow dog" (her words). Luckily, she does not have the "fat gene" that runs in her family.

I just spoke with my mom last night about my dad. A few pages back I posted that my dad was admitted to the hospital with congestive heart failure. He is probably somewhere around 175-200 pounds overweight. My mom is overweight as well. When we spoke last night she told me that she let herself go because he let himself go. I'm just saying .... you just think you are going to leave that fat wife until you see a long line of dudes waiting for you to get your Narrow butt out of the way.
people use appearance to catch a mate. they assume character will keep a mate, wrong bek you can have rotten character and be a slob too.

Fat spouse, and turned off? Then I say do something about it, instead of taking the easy way out by asking for a divorce.
Offer to work out with her. Get her motivated, and moving!
Start eating right! You have to help. It takes two in a marriage to make a go! It really helps if the other person has a motivator!
