At the risk of repeating myself--and I'm not, I'm....reiterating--there are no old topics. They always come back with fresh, new replies from people who weren't here to join the discussion the first time around. Just b'c you have already discussed it doesn't mean everyone has. Get over yourself.
Also, perhaps some "perennial" topics need to be linked together better.

we could ask "when and where have you gotten busy in religous settings" (such as pews, benches, lofts, etc)

I tend to stay away from the religious and political forums.
