Whats interesting for me about this topic, Is alot of it is swept under the carpet. I reackon it goes on far more than some people realise. Male to female and female to male. Some couples will generally go to every length to not make it known.
I think abusive men need their ass kicked. I just found out the extent of Chris Brown's beating on Rihanna. I'm through listening to his music. The crap is rediculous.
Any "man" or one who believes that he is of the masculine species who believes that by using violence against anyone, particularly a woman, should be considered anti-social and also have a sign placed outside his home that he is aggressive........

Stays at home, abusive to your kid, runs up dizzying credit card debt and then yells at you and wants to start fights when you get home about how you don't do enough around the house. Not sayin its right but if my wife shoved me after a hard days work and I come home to all that BS I'd have a hard time not kickin her ass.

Again, leave then, as well as the fact that behavior doesn't just come about overnight. I know a woman (now), who I met in the mall when I was 18 at an arcade, where she worked the flower stand at 16. Absolute trailer-trash in the worst senses, as I was friends with her, met others by her, told her ass off, didn't speak to me for years, then tried to bury the hatchet not that long ago...Still can't do it, the woman is a user, abusive to anyone who doesn't stand up to her, it's plain in her words, tone, and actions.
Can't see NOT seeing that before you have children and the like, then getting the eff outta dodge.

And you would be total scum in my eyes. A man who raises his hand to a woman is not a man at all, just some feral creature who somehow has managed to learn how to drive a car and have a job.
