Vastly over rated! I think most people say it is so great because society, friends, and the media tell us it is so good. I suspect most people know it is a few seconds of feeling good with lots of effort and to many compromises. It is tiring and kind of embarrassing. I think its main reason should be for children, not for recreation.
A good hug, a long talk or a feeling of closeness is far more important than a sex act.

It's intimate recreation that's designed to make you have kids. This can be strictly for release for some in certain mindsets or certain times, an act that gives release creating a better bond, or some mixture of solidifying a bond while gaining release. Obviously, I'm not talking about from behind, face in a pillow kinda sex here for the last few.
Personally, when I have sex, I am having children with her, that's my driving desire behind it. I see her as someone overall that I need to cannonball the gene-pool of and am trying my damnedest to splash away.

Yep! Both those and a few other things as well, including a great game not played nearly often enough. Then I was going to lament that for a bit but I read a few of the other posts and now I'm feeling very well adjusted.
