Anyway, even though I have a great time with each of them, one of them joked at the last lunch that maybe people will talk and asked if my husband was alright with us having lunch. Is this really an issue with most people? There is no flirting or sexual interest.
Can't married men and women who work together go out to lunch together? (just the two of them)
Yes. What does gender have to do with eating lunch?
Holy mackeral, I know this is a Lazarus thread, but there are some really insecure people here. I'm in a business that's 2/3rds women. If I didn't eat lunch with women I would have a difficult time doing business.

Same with me, only I work with 90% men. I rarely go out to lunch with any of the women. The guys are more fun to be around, and yes I've gone to lunch with some of the married ones, just the two of us. They're like my older brothers (even the younger ones )
I have a lunch buddy. We typically go out once a week. Him, and sometimes this other guy. Next Friday, after work, I'm heading to a cigar parlor with two male colleagues for some chess. I've never had a cigar, but will try a skinny one.
