Everyone is different. Me: I'm a sensual person. I need a companion, an alter ego.
Others aren't necessarily so compelled. Some people don't have that "loneliness" factor & just wait & wait until they think everything is perfect, I guess.
Me, I jump in & experiment & put caution to the wind. Sort of.
I've always been driven to experience as much as possible. I couldn't stand not having a partner. Sexless isn't in my vocab.

If you want to practice the lifestyle of celibacy, yes, you could live without sex. It's part of that kind of lifestyle, which there is nothing wrong with. It's your choice and you can do what you please. Don't worry about the Joneses next door, just get on with your life and what makes you happiest.

Simple question Could you live without sex, or is it a human basic need?
It's a basic human need. I could not live without it. Well, I could but I suppose not many people would want to be around me by then. I already loose my temper easily, if I had to live without sex, being near me would not be very pleasant.
I don't REALLY need to breath.... but don't take sex away!
