Same goes for vehicles...I currently drive an '03 Dodge Intrepid SXT---it's kinda low to get in and out of, and plus, Mrs Catfish is a gardening nut, and I can't tell you the number of times we BOTH wished we had a pickup, because of all the mulch and tools and landscaping rocks/etc we've had to haul in the back of her SUV...

Besides that, I kinda like the height and power (not to mention the hauling capacity LOL) of a pickup...if I ever get one, trust me, it WON'T be to compensate for a 'lack of or extension of equipment'...

And just for the record, if a gay person wants to own a small dog, so what? Why do so many people in the world act like they changed the lord's first diaper, therefore, they (think) they can sit in judgement on other folk? I have two words for folk like that---one rhymes with truck, and the other is the opposite of 'on'
Agreed!

Hah it's all good. Sadly there are some people who seriously believe that everybody driving a truck or sports car is compensating... what does it say about them that they gotta judge someone based on their car?

I have been pondering on this.

If a guy who drives a big truck or fast car is overcompensating for a small weasel, what are women who drive those same vehicles overcompensating for?

Everyone thinks they're a psych expert. I always tell them that with their lofty knowledge of human behavior, that they should start charging by the hour.

If I couldn't have a large dog (Rhodesian Ridgeback, German Shepherd, Black Lab/German Shepherd mix (like I currently have), Boerboel, etc.), I'd get a cool cat like a Bengal Cat (domestic cat and leopard cat mix):

Perhaps envy that they don't have one at all.
