Maybe thay should ahve let you watch adult material, so then you'd know what they were doing upstairs.
That would have been very inappropriate. Everybody knows when it comes to entertainment on television, violence is more acceptable for children to watch than pornography.

Then the child will be doing the same when he gets older, to real cars, real people and real drug dealers.
Well, if the economy never really rebounds and jobs are going to be few and far between, at least he's going to have some kind of a career to hold on to?
[quote=yankeegirl313;9394041]Yeah...but he don`t like to go outside alone. Then, he will be freaking out...wondering why I am asking him to go outside. Then....he will be at our door, for sure!
One night, I found him outside our bedroom door, and I have been paranoid, every since then.
He has an ipod......don`t use it.
When we turn up the volume on the TV, I feel it just makes things even louder.... If he is standing outside of my bedroom door, as I found him at one time, he is bound to hear us!
I am just a paranoid parent, afraid to let go, for fear my son will hear, therefore, he usually gets the "quick" treatment, with my help.

I’m just through page five…and this is the observation/opinion so far…
Ever read, not watched, read To Kill A Mockingbird?
In there is a character named Dill. He’s a weird little kid who would hang outside mama’s bedroom all night long too. Dill isn’t stupid, in fact he’s a real person, Truman Capote. Do you know who that is/was? Your kid sounds like Dill/Truman. Since nobody ever wants to tell Dill anything directly he becomes a great observer and listener, always wanting to investigate. That’s the effect trying to hide everything from your kids actually has, they end up finding out, often from sources you’d rather they hadn’t.
Well meaning parents have been traumatizing little kids for years by overprotecting them. Has it occurred to you he might think Daddy was hurting you? Or worse, since you won’t express sex to him, he’s heard some wild crazy mixed up things about it from other kids?
You can bet he’s noticed you two going into the bathroom together and wonders why. He’s growing up believing sex is bad and must be hidden.
Tell him straight up, Daddy and I need private time…go play somewhere! Let your hatchling learn to fly.

When the kid grows up and has his own family, he will do the same to his kids.
