I have two Stepkids that I consider my kids because their Dad has never had a thing to do with them growing up never paid a Dime Child Support.Been years since I had seen him.
Well yesterday we was going down there for our Grandsons Birthday.Just about get over to our Sons place my wife says my Ex is there I want you to behave yourself.??? What the heck am I going to do go in there and Beat him up???
We get there,it was not just him but the kids Half Sister,Her Husband and their Kid.
Go in they all say Hi! and he shakes my hand ask how I was doing.We all had a good visit.His Daughter invited me and my wife up to Chicago.
Left there told my wife he might have money but I feel much richer with the life we have and in some ways feel sorry for him.
You are definitely the bigger man and I have great respect and admiration for you for not only the way you raised "his" kids, but the way you let his irresponsibility go for the sake of family harmony.

Yeah, even though the guy could of used a good beating for abandoning perfectly good and innocent children that he would of loved to death, you held your composure and let the looser have his way. He's the one missing out. You are clearly the bigger man.

Good for you that you showed way more self restraint than I might have been able to summon up!! Those kids are lucky to have had you as their REAL dad. We all know sperm donation doesn't count.
