My lil bro lives in Missouri. He has been going through the process of a divorce which seems like forever.First,he shouldn't have married the trash he did.Don't know what he was thinking not bringing her home to meet the moms in the first place.Anyhow,I am proud of my gorgeous niece.First thing that was delaying the divorce is that they both want full custody.Second she gets busted for prescription drug abuse/writing fake prescriptions in which she does some time in a rehab facility.Eventually gets out.Pulls every stunt in the book(lyingly)in order to get the majority of custody swung back her way.My brother was nice enough to send the niece to the inlaws, who inturn took her to visit her mom.He wasn't ordered to.Did I mention he also continued to treat his step daughter as his own.Now this b**ch is pregnant by another man.The court ruled now everybody has to wait until she has the baby, before divorce proceeding continue. I swear if I didn't care about my freedom and had nothing to live for-I would mop the floor with her.I think it's crazy. It's not like it's a possibility it's my brother's child.Has anyone ever heard of this before?I've heard that in some states, you have to be seperated at least 2 years in which they have been.
Yes, when my step son's ex was pregnant by him, she had to wait until the baby was born to proceed with the divorce. Considering the stress divorce causes, I can see not proceeding while a woman is pregnant.
I agree with others that your brother needs to get a DNA test as soon as that baby is born to prove it's not his. However, this may not help him. In some states, the father is the woman's legal husband. I hope he has a good lawyer.
