When should you meet her friends and what if they don't like you? And vice versa?

Meet when you both decide its time. If they don't like you or her, well you'd have to decide how much of a problem its going to be. If someone is just being a butt-head and just doesn't like you/her with no reason - I'd question why they are still your friend. Among rational adults, there may be differences that are easily overcome, but not all out hatred.

Hope that made sense.

I NEVER mess with his friends. Ever. Even if they are total jerks, I won't ask him to run a ring where he is the referee. He can hang out with them as long as its not women we are talking about who seem to be of the skanky variety. In which case, I probably wont date him.

Easy answer. Don't let him or her isolate you from your friends. This is a clear warning sign. If they don't get along, this may be their way of isolating you.

That's why I never ever consider dating women who smoke. As soon as you do you have to hang out with all of her friends who smoke, too. They ALL smoke. Smokers stick together, just like non-smokers.
