To some people meat is meat, as long as you eat. Plus a well-prepared filet takes a little patience, whereas you can pick up a hamburger quick at a drive-in window.
I am actually living proof that there is such a thing as love at first sight. My future husband was my bus driver. The first day I rode his bus after I moved from LA to Venice, he came around to collect the checks that showed we had paid extra fare due to the distance we were traveling. I was daydreaming and he touched my hand to get my attention. I looked into his eyes and the first thought in my mind was I wonder what it would be like to be married to this person. Later, I found out he had a similar experience. This was in June, we were married the following January. We were married for 20 years until his death in 1990. Every day wasn't perfect, but many days were. I love him to this day and although, I may meet someone in the future in this life, he will always be in my heart.
It could happen to you. You never know what is around the next corner.
