Society is all screwed up...age of consent is 16. A 16 year older can
have had literally 100s of girls if he/she started at 12...hello...
This is not the 60s,70s,80s, or 90s... kids learn to explore open
mouth kissing from the TV set at age 3. Yall need to get real...
If you want purity in ya kids, then as a group do something
about TV shows. Imagine your own self at 16 with the constant
sexual suggestiveness all around you...
Kids now start sexual exploration at 12 or younger... by 16 years
it really isn't a big deal... no way you gonna see all that open
mouth kissing on big screens in slow motion since you were
knee-high to an ant and NOT try it just to see what it's like.
Her boy could have lost his virginity at 10 and no one would be
surprise. Kids have way more experience now then their
parents total sexual life and that's just the way it is now.
Talk about the women to make yourselves feel better but that
woman ain't the bigger problem. What you parents have said yes,
to what was being seen by your children whole life, is.

I never painted the image of him as a innocent kid sitting in his room eating cereal and wearing feetie pj's. I said that if I had to guess he made a sexual advance at the lady and she took him up on it. I also said that I sided with the father because in a few years this kid will be out on his own...soooo I really don't know why you keep responding to my posts like I'm in denial or something.
However, as a woman in my late 20's I don't see how a grown woman would find the concept of having sex with a high school boy appealing - hell I didn't think it was appealing to have sex with high school boys when I was in high school.

I'm 20 and I wasn't having sex at 10 and as far as i know neither were my boys i think the first one to even get brain was the summer between 8-9 grade maybe the girls in my neighborhood just weren't as freidnly as yours lol

but did anyone believe me? Nope. At least my parents did and they

No one is fighting with you - I don't even know what real situation you're talking about since most of your post was talking about society and television.
I haven't made it past page two but my idea is that teens are a bit isolated from the real world. They get a ton of talk about birth control and prevention. They are very much afraid of getting pregnant. I think that fear may subside later and risks are set aside for personal (lucky) experience of the older person involved. I think there are a lot more risks with having sex with someone older.
For someone to being having kids, by accident or not, with someone who is still a kid, how are they going to look at their own kids or their kids friends as they grow older? If they do not have sexual restraint at 28 would they at 44? If they are so intrigued by having sex with someone so young at 28, how much more intriguing would it be at 44?
