Best of Luck to you Mr&Mrs Cat.

I had heard those marriage encounter weekends were NOT for couples who were having problems, only for couples who were doing well, it seems it makes their marriage better? But, maybe it's changed?

Well, I am back in Cali, my job offer didn't materialize so I don't have a job. My wife and I are working our issues and it looks there's hope. My kids are adorable and I am spending all the time I have with them. Hopefuly things will change and will start getting better. So members who enjoy getting a kick out of people's misery: I will pull out of this one!!
What's the name of this song, er...... "I Will Survive"!

One of my friends just went to one with her husband. They were having some difficult times in their marriage and my friend said the weekend really helped a LOT. She's so happy at how things have changed for the better with her hubby.

Bummer about the job, and hopefully another offer will materialize soon. Enjoy every moment with your kids, and keep working on issues with your wife. It will all work out how it's supposed to.

They don't work if you don't get along and there is resentment.

Time. Lots of time. I'm finding that we have to forge a new life together. My attempts to continue the old one didn't work. I seem to do better if I think of this as relationship2.0. The first one crashed. This is the updated version.
