I'd feel really out of place with a shaved head, so that's not an option for me. Neither would using any kind of a wigs be.

I'd rather just keep good hygiene, stay in a good shape, keep my hair nice and control what I can. I'm rather young looking for my age anyway.

Thanks for the responses again. If a girl rejects me because of a bald spot, she's not worth my time. That sad thing is that I know many people, both men and women, who demand physical "perfection" from the opposite sex to even consider giving them half a chance with dating. A little thinning hair, a few extra pounds, one pimple here, two gray hairs there - then you're out. Then they wonder why they wonder why they have been single for so long...

if it's a BALD SPOT then you have no choice but to shave it but if it's a area where it's THINNING then that's something different.

I’ve never really asked, but I’ve been wondering about this a lot lately. I’m 27, and in the last year I’ve had thinning (only around the crown area) and a small bald spot has appeared. I'm in great physical shape and I've been told I'm handsome by women in my life - but I don't feel nearly as handsome anymore. It’s just starting to really get to me and I find myself wearing a baseball cap almost always except when I’m at work or sleeping.

Please share your thoughts and opinions…
No worries here<~~ I like bald men...infact I have stared at a few quite hot looking bald men.

I have a bald spot on the crown and thinning on top.

So what do I do?

I have an appointment every week with the bathroom and my hair trimmer with the 1/4" attachment - lol!

I guess the more hair I lose, the more exotic cars I'm going to have to get

In all honesty, I actually would rather be around a woman who *liked me more* because of my car than one who *liked me less* due to some thinning hair.

My son-in-law hadn't seen me in 4 or 5 years (I had a fringe-type graying greatly receding hairline then) and was visiting recently after I had gone "clean". He hardly recognized me and said I look like "one of those young NBA basketball guys". I really loved that since I'm older than Dikembe Mutombo!

My experience as a 40-something divorcee was that very few women, esp those that date 40-something men!, have any problem with a shaved head. Most told me, including my second wife, that it was very sexxy and youthful. Pretty much they unanimously agree that trying to cover up bald spots with comb-overs or black spray-on is what truly is very big turn-off.

Just cut it short or shave it clean. It also feels wonderful - no dandruff or itching I've found. Women also like to run their hands over it. Probably some kind of kinky transference fetish; I wouldn't know though.

My boss is bald, my apartment manager is bald, and two other guys I work with that are bald...and you know what, they are all attractive! And they are all different ages...not a certain generation.

Maybe the biggest step is accepting it, and the initial shaving of it off, and then perhaps, the shock of the difference between having hair and then having none. I don't think any less of these men because they don't have hair. It must be pretty easy to get up in the mornings and get ready for work, not like us women.

Default That is z answer

[quote=NSX;9843453]I guess the more hair I lose, the more exotic cars I'm going to have to get

You caught me there. I went out and bought me a sunburst orange metal fleck 306 HP Nissan Z in my late 40s after going bald!

How did it work with the babes? Well, I have to confess that I had already met a wonderful girl and seduced me with my 1984 Toyota 4-w drive wagon with no air con (in Houston!). It was really her insistance that I get something a bit sexxier for us to drive. Well, she hasn't divorced me after 2 years (and with trying to live with me that's saying a lot! :-) ) with it so I guess it's working!
