I imagine that depends on who your married to. If you find a compatable person that is willing to commit to marriage and you are too, Im sure marriage can be a very good thing.

Marriage is prone to extremes. When it's good, it's sublime. When it's bad, it's horrendous.

Marriage is what you make it. In saying that you can't make it perfect or happy by yourself and your partner can't either.
Often you both on the same page about sex, fun or hobbies. Passions and or direction and children.
So get on the same page and know what its about and why you love we person.
Often people lose sight of what marriage is and I think before you even think about it you should really talk to someone who lives it and people who have gotten a divorce.
I think a manual on being married should be given to those who think life with a person forever will be good always.

Um, marriage is better than being single in the single scene, as I am now learning.

Gosh no. I think that marriage is wonderful. I have been married three times, and even though two of them ended in divorce there was no hate, no bitterness, no animosity. We parted friends. I don't think it is necessary to be hateful just because a marriage does not work out.

Anyway, I love being married and advocate it highly to everyone!

I'm very much in favor of it. When it's good it can't be beat. When it's bad...
