BUT...maybe it's a good idea to block them. They ALWAYS seem to completely take over any gmail account I make...to the point where there is so much Cougar Spam I just give up and make a new account. I don't know how they do it or why they think I'm interested in Cougar Dating. But, I'm sick of my phone ringing and asking if I want to date a cougar. No, no i don't.

If you didnt bother to read the article, how can you even comment?
The article talks about how its ok for Google to not block sites like sugardaddy.com, but wont allow cougar.com to come up.....read the doggone article!
No I don't want to. It's not a pre requisite, I can get the gist of what this is going to be about from the title.
It's obnoxious to get literally 15 emails for some Cougar Dating site. Crack down on it...good for google.
As a consumer of Google...I'd like to see them block all the stupid online dating emails I get. They are a private enterprise and must do what their customers want. If you don't like it tell google. Or use yahoo (snicker).

Are you wearing your toupee too small again?
I can only assume the circulation to your brain is constricted, judging by your response.
FYI, this article is NOT about the ads in your inbox......btw, the algorithms they use to send you ads MUST be getting the info to send you the ads from something you are looking at online......
I read this and almost fell over, to me it just smacks of sexism, what say you?
This Life - Google Restricts Ads for ‘Cougar’ Sites - NYTimes.com
The sexism is right here:
Google continues to allow similar advertising for the many sites that match older men and younger women, like DateAMillionaire.com, which assures its clients they can meet “sugar babies.”
So cougars and cubs are out, but sugar daddies and sugar babies are in.
Now back to our regularly scheduled thread, does this move by Google smack of sexism?
