I agree about WV.. What I experienced on the eastern side was basically with women you don't want to talk to anyways lol. They were very brutish in nature. Passive aggressive, uneducated, etc..
Now I imagine NV Plumber is talking about Morgantown, which is a college town seating WVU. Any college town is the same in my experience.. That being State College (Penn State) in comparison. Educated older people working in the realm of academia mixed with the younger college crowd... who are basically fornicating in the streets at night << JK
In the rural little place I'm at now, many of the women (even those that aren't very attractive/overweight/etc) have someone in their life.
It's much more difficult for a man to meet a woman.. at least in the mid thirty age bracket.
Oh my god it is, it continues on into the late 30's as well..so brace yourself. I'm just warning you. No one can understand until you're a guy that's lived it. Especially when you're in my part of the country it's like the double whammy of endless loneliness. I extend my search to a 60 mile radius going deep into the Pittsburgh metro and it's still horrible because Pittsburgh doesn't have a good singles scene for men either. The whole region has too many damn men compounded by the the stupid oil/gas boom! I honestly think I have to move or have huge romance issues for the rest of my life. I agree I think NVPlumber was talking about Morgantown which is a college town. Those are totally different atmospheres and even then you're going to run into certain problems.
Edit: I just did a search on Match in the 32 to age 45 bracket of everyone that was online, in a 70 mile radius. It was 422 men to 179 women.

Obviously they should all get in their cars. The men drive east and the woman drive west and you all meet in Hastings, Nebraska. Here is what is available. Book early:

My struggle is real. Yeah it's not just the radio that is bad in my part of the country, it's the low numbers on top of it all.
Population size is meaningless when all women 30-40 years old are married.
