I am really tall but my best friend is shorter than 5' and I think that she is a guy magnet because of her happy-go-lucky attitude. I just think that guys like her cheerful attitude so NO WAY hight should not be an issue my friend!
I've always been attracted to shorter women. In fact, my ex was 5'0 as well, and for me, that was the perfect height. I'm 5'7, and I prefer someone who ranges from about 5'0 to 5'4.. Still everyone's different.
And yes, I impress myself.. I didn't bust out one short joke at all! Go me!
I PREFER girls to be short. Short girls are cuter. My ideal height is around 5 foot 2 to 5 foot 4, but as long as they're a above 5 feet, I like them short personally. It really doesn't matter though. I'm only 5 foot 6, and I don't even care if a girl towers over me. As long as she doesn't have a complex about it or complain about how she feels like a giant next to me, she could be 6 foot tall and wear heels and I'd be cool with it.

It's much harder for taller women in dating. The selection is narrowed down, as shorter men are often not willing to date a woman as tall or taller than them, and many taller guys oddly prefer really short women also. So cry me a river about being short.
That said, I LOVE being on the tall side. :P

Just going off of my personal observations of tall women that I know, they actually care much less than shorter women about a man's height. You get used to being on eye level with so many men that a guy who is your height or even a bit shorter doesn't phase you much. Plus, as mentioned, with so many tall guys who actually prefer short women, your selection of taller men is limited anyway.
I also know a few tall women who prefer short men. I always kid that it's nature's way of making sure people don't get freakishly tall
My first husband had a thing for short women. At the time I was 5'4" and about 120 lbs, and was still "too big" for him. He liked 'em short, proportionate (didn't like big boobs or fat rears), and cute. He stood 6 ft and was brawny.
Tall and/or "big" women were a major turn-off for him.
