I knew the anti-childfree people would find this thread sooner or later. OK, we get it: you have kids, you love your children to pieces, you can't imagine why other people wouldn't want kids of their own. That's OK. We need people like you in the world, otherwise we'd go extinct pretty quickly.

However, there are people who, for whatever reason, don't share that same desire. There's nothing wrong with that, and you should respect their decisions.

I am thrilled people who do not want children or do not like them choose not to have them...it is the best thing for all involved.

Also, to everyone who posted in this thread: thanks. It's really encouraging to know I'm not alone on this whole not wanting kids thing. I'm amazed that there are over a hundred replies in less than 24 hours.
