Just to get things straight, I don't hate children in a way of actually hurting them of course. I like when my nephew comes to me, asking about something I'm doing. But he's my blood family, I have to have a certain patience with him.

And I want to clarify this...just because I have children does not mean I like ALL children. Actually, there is a good chance I am not fond of 20-30% of the kids I meet but I will watch more carefully as to produce more accurate figures for inquiring minds

Anyway, back to the original thread. Who gives a crap. Don't want to have kids? So what, don't have them. Want to have kids? So what, then have them. Last time I checked there was no law saying that everyone had to have children. There are childfree people everywhere. I have many friends that don't have kids, family members, etc. I'm beginning to wonder if people who posts these threads ever really get out of the house because there really is no shortage of folks who don't want to have kids. And in my experience, I have found that more men want children than women.
Having difficulties finding other childfree people? It's not hard to find others like this at all Maybe it's personal, maybe it's just you.

Hell yes count me on. I'm anticipating having an operation sometime soon in the future. I think I can have it done without the doctors refusing it if after all I'm of legal age (pass 21).
Pft...fat chance. Ive been trying to get that out of my doctors since I was 18. If you find one that will do it, PLEASE let me know.

I knew the anti-childfree people would find this thread sooner or later. OK, we get it: you have kids, you love your children to pieces, you can't imagine why other people wouldn't want kids of their own. That's OK. We need people like you in the world, otherwise we'd go extinct pretty quickly.
I don't recall one response in this thread that was "anti-child-free". It's anti-hatred. And we could do without those people in this world. We wouldn't go extinct without them.

Not having the paternal thing going is one thing; there is nothing wrong with that. There is nothing respectful about a person who hates, less so when it applies to kids.
