I wouldn't have an issue being with a guy who liked to play video games in his leisure time. I've never been much of a gamer myself, but I do love watching others play.

We have a joke in my family, that these sorts of things keep us off the streets.

My partner's hobby is military models. This has been "his thing" for about 50 years. It's not my thing, but it makes him happy, so it's never been an issue. No missing work for it, going into debt to buy them, or trading quality time with me to deal with them. Why the heck not?

What do you mean by military models? He builds model planes and tanks and such?

Some building, yes.

Most of the stuff he has is 1/700 scale, so most of the time there's not as much building as there is a little putting together, painting and collecting.

I'm a gamer myself, so I'd be okay with a BF who was, as long as it wasn't all the time. I couldn't deal with someone addicted to WoW or something.

So it's fine, in moderation.

I don't play them much as I used to I still do and there are some weekends i stay in and play a whole saturday but thats not a common thing.
The world is big and theres so much more to life than video games.
Anyone here play Super Mario Maker? Thats a fun game for me

The Pokémon GO thing would be a deal breaker though lol. You won't get me chasing Pokemon.
