TV Guy, I am sorry but that saying about ' you have to kiss a lot of toads before finding a prince' (or a princess) is very true.

Try not to have high expectations. I don't mean give up what you want but you know, it's like the job search, the more you dig, the less you find. Try to do things you like to do and you will find someone.

It shouldn't be that hard. I know about being sad and lonely and wanting love but so many relationships you see are crap. People pretending they are 'so in love' or 'perfect together' well, the reality behind it is shocking.

You also need to be pure about your intentions. If you want to meet the future Mrs.TV Guy, stop seeking out 'liars,' 'sluts' and potential nut cases. Do you not deserve a nice girl, someone with talents, someone with self respect?

I recorded the whole "Torchwood" minseries a few weeks ago. I've yet to watch it. Definitely something I could only do over a weekend, yet, instead of watching it, I'm sitting her on the computer instead. Thus, I don't watch a lot of TV, since I am doing other things to occupy my time.

The answer I get a lot is-"I REALLY DON"T WATCH MUCH TV"

We all know that is a lie
What's this "we" thing? You have a mouse in your pocket?

I lived w/o TV for yeeeears. Now that we have cable, I watch cooking shows, sci-fi (my guilty pleasure) and every July, the TdF!

Some of us prefer books, playing on the computer, spending time outside doing stuff, instead of sitting in front of a TV all the time. It happens. I use my TV strictly for playing DVDs and gaming.
Dang, I haven't even seen a reality show since the second season of Survivor! How long ago was that?

I'm never going to believe someone never watches TV.

Just because you don't believe them doesn't mean they aren't being honest.

Why? Some people have other interests.

Didn't you once complain that some women you've talked to don't talk about anything "important", that they only talk about entertainment news? These women who claim to not watch TV probably don't follow that sort of things and have other interests like the local music scene or art or theater productions. Or maybe they like spending time down at the beach or out camping in the woods. No TV's out there.
