...but actually getting to see karmic revenge is so good. I know it's wrong to get any kind of joy out of someone else's misery, but everytime I feel sorry for my ex, the next thought is "Oh well, if he hadn't messed me over he wouldn't be in this position." One part of me does feel bad, he'll be going through hell for the next 18 years but on the other hand, he did it to myself.
I'll try to make this short: I was dating a guy I really fell for only to discover that he had a live-in. Needless to say, end of relationship. Fast forward two years, they break-up and he calls me to see me now that he's a free man.
Not quite...they are in the final stages of the break-up. So I tell him to call me when the final stages are final. Fast forward 6 months. The relationship with the live-in is over, we go out to dinner. I'm thinking this is great I'll have some moral support to help me deal with my sister's death. Then I get this little bomb shell: he got caught up in a whirlwind romance and married another woman, she's pregnant and she's already filed for divorce.
How was I able to keep my cool? When you are already in so much pain you are numb, nothing else can make you hurt more.
Now the child is here and she doesn't want to share and she's making his life miserable. And she will be for the next 18 years. I know he thinks that if he had stuck to the plan, he could be enjoying his child with a woman who doesn't hate him and without drama.
I don't believe in Karma. But I know of people that will go out of their way to harm you because they think you deserve bad karma.
Remember the Nazis. They said that The Jews stole all of the good jobs in Germany. Well they got "Karma" from Hitler. In his mind they were ruining his country. Karma can be pretty freaky if you ask me.
It's just another way of getting revenge or looking for revenge without feeling guilty about it.
