I seen the title and thought well hmmmm. He is now trying to pick up men their 30s.
Once in a while I have a drink, not often. Never smoked. So no it is not rare at all.
Forgive me for responding to this "page 2" quote on page 13 or 14, unlike the "geographic" forums it seems that these forums expand quite quickly.
I am pretty much like you (and I'm 41!) and I think that is fairly much true of anyone mid-40s and under, more so men than women (since me and below in age are the generations where more women smoked/smoke than men).
Never had a drink I think is rare, but many probably did most of their "drinking" in their college years (that is me, and now very occasionally, usually just a beer). Never smoked might be as rare (though I never have), but you will likely have many who tried it once or twice and that's it, or their "smoking" (and again it may only be once or twice) was a joint rather than a cigarette.
