Because these guys are not really gay, they are straight or bisexual at best, but they play a certain game - being a metrosexual -that a certain kind of women adore.
Example : a friend of my former wife, who was a reporter in a Gay magazine, played being gay, dressed as a gay, went to gay bars - but he married and had 2 children .
In fact he was straight (well, maybe he had one gay experience or two just to be accepted in gay circles), and his wife and other intimate friends/family knew all along it was a charade just to be able to make a career in the gay press !
No, not in all cases. There are biologically homosexual men who do marry women.
A friend of mine was married to a gay man for 20 years. He finally told her he was gay on their 20th anniversary She said their sex life had always been great. He's now living with his boyfriend, and she's remarried.
This is exactly what I don't get! If you're gay, how are you even performing in the first place? It just doesn't make sense to me....

I don't know about you, but if I was a girl and a guy wanted to go shoe shopping with me, I would think something isn't right .

That's pretty interesting! I wonder what happens when their parents come to visit.....

Only one of his sons knows he is gay. His parents and siblings would disown him.
Basically the same thing as Tropical Trouble. I understand that some may have feelings for the same sex, but how are you performing on the opposite sex?

If your ex's friend had to "perform" to be accepted, this theory wouldn't work out, unless he wasn't in a normal state of mind.
Wow. He sounds like a selfish manipulative jerk and a loser.

I'm pretty sure "sham marriages" are illegal. Be careful with that.

If you are truly gay. You will not get a boner when you see a woman's naked body. A gay man's ding dong will shrivel up or stay flaccid. I kid you not.
