Never really thought about anyone else's name...just my own.
I go by Dorene, but my given name is Betty Doris. I was named after my grandmother. (BIG surprise, huh? )
No offense to her, but I really dislike my name. I sound like a Depression-era old lady who goes bowling every Friday night and smokes Lucky Strikes.

When I hear Betty I think UGLY but 10 years ago I went on a Blind Date with a girl name better and was very surprised at how pretty she was

Hmmm I always thought Fred was an ugly name. But seems if you add the Freddrick it then sounds sophisicated.

I always thought Raena was a really dumb name, kind of reminds me of that one time I ate some cardboard and tried to spice it up with ketchup.

Now you know why I go by Dorene!

I made sure my daughters had pretty names: Summer and Cheyenne.

Thats rather appropriate then because my roomate and I find it hilarious to get drunk then start up a chainsaw at 3am because we live next to the landlord. We've only done it twice but sweet chocolate christ is his reaction funny.

I dislike trendy names, but I just figure those people had unoriginal parents. It's not really their fault.
