O.K., so everyone has their "list" of what they're looking for in a girlfriend/boyfriend, or even if you are someone looking for a long term commitment like marriage. Most times, however, we usually have to compromise; rarely does anyone get EVERYTHING they are looking for in another person when it comes to relationships.
What's the ABSOLUTE DEAL BREAKER for you? What is something you will absolutely NOT compromise on, no matter what?
A name like bigcats and you don't like like animals. WTF???
I took it to mean that he (or she?) likes animals and doesn't want to be with someone who doesn't. Come to think of it, that would be a deal breaker for me too! People who don't like animals are sick, IMO.
I'm tempted to make smoking another one, but I've dated some great ex-smokers... Maybe it would be OK if they wanted to quit?
lies. One lie, I am gone. Cheap, lazy, rude, does not like cats, does not like kids, critical, controlling, abusive, mean, poor hygiene, unmotivated, drinks and drives, smokes, does drugs, does not eat the food I cook, no sense of humor, boring, predictable, not good in bed, racist,

I do like animals. That's why my absolute dealbreaker is "Can't tolerate animals". If you can't, then you won't like my house. You will go away quickly.

When I was younger I don't think I really knew what I wanted (aside from the obvious that I wanted someone who wouldn't lie/cheat and someone who would likely be a good mom/wife in a long-term situation). Now that I'm older I can state with confidence and from experience that there are two unobvious things which can make a relationship seem unbearable to me: 1) I'm a sexual being and cannot be with someone that has non-existent or low libido no matter how much I otherwise relate to them, and 2) I don't like being with someone "set in their ways" as I still feel like I'm open-minded and willing/able to try new things all the time.
Outside of those things I can pretty much tolerate/overlook any particulars as long as the total package is still there and feels right.
Someone with a substance abuse problem/drug addiction and yes this includes cigarettes!
