Remember folks, this is the guy that cut off all communication with a friend because she had the audacity to ask how his job search was going:

TV Guy, are you serious?
You can't just cancel because of rain. It's not Hurricane Katrina (no offense to anyone) it's just rain.

I would be annoyed if someone canceled due to a bit of rain.
Walking in the rain is romantic. You can duck into a coffee shop, have a warm drink and then talk.

I really have no idea why you canceled again.

Normally I go out because of rain but the news mentioned a storm which meant POURING RAIN and why have a first meeting with nasty weather? Even after the Cafe I would have wanted to walk around and talk at the waterfront and look at the lights but that would not have been possible because of Rain

Anyone agree? I just don't feel like holding umbrella in the pouring rain on a first meet. First Meets should be on nice evenings always. So the girl agreed with me and will go out next week.

Any Ladies agree?
Is that some old wives tale? Is it bad luck to have a first date in the rain? Were you afraid she wouldn't like you and might make you walk home in a down pour? I guess we can add this to the long list of rules that prohibit TVSG from meeting someone of the opposite sex. By the way, things won't get much better as the cold Winter in coming. For those without a car, perhaps dating should be regarded as a Summer hobby?

Walking down the street in the winter is a lot different than walking in pouring rain

You would find something sexy about slush and yellow snow.

I don't use an umbrella when it rains. It's just water. Sheesh.
