Buried my cat beside the garden arbor Thursday morning. There's a small azalea bush that has all of a sudden doubled in size and was blooming banshees; I took it as a sign to put her there. It's in the sun. She would have liked that.

I'm making a stained glass grave marker for her. I've always wanted to make a stained glass stepping stone, so this is a good excuse to try my hand at it. I have now learned to break the glass with a TOWEL - not my bare hands. I think the hard part is done - I have her name and the date...and a new thumbprint.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Pets to me are like family members. The grave marker sounds like it's going to be very nice.

It's actually been rather therapeutic. I'm beating myself up every day since, wishing I had been more proactive in her care, and it just makes me feel like . Working on this makes me feel better somehow...except for the thumb part.

Me too. I'm sorry if anyone else disagrees, but I thought it kind of stupid to make that TV show off of those commercials. I never watched it.

I'm wondering why they haven't made cave-woman commercials yet...

I just was surprised when the Ozark Mountain Daredevils started doing Geiko commercials.

Yes, that was sacrilegious. I can see using old music in movie soundtracks but television commercials? It cheapens the music and the artist...
