Buried my cat beside the garden arbor Thursday morning. There's a small azalea bush that has all of a sudden doubled in size and was blooming banshees; I took it as a sign to put her there. It's in the sun. She would have liked that.
I'm making a stained glass grave marker for her. I've always wanted to make a stained glass stepping stone, so this is a good excuse to try my hand at it. I have now learned to break the glass with a TOWEL - not my bare hands. I think the hard part is done - I have her name and the date...and a new thumbprint.
Chessie I am so sorry! We lost our beloved dog almost 4 years ago and I still get teary eyed thinking about her...your plan to make a stepping stone sounds like a wonderful tribute to her...please post some pics when you are finished!

So sorry Chessie. I think it's the price we pay as humans for getting to experience the purity of their love.
On a brighter note, should you ever need to change your identity, the thumb is already taken care of...?
Exactly my thoughts after I saw the size of the divot I sliced.
LOL! I bet you also have a ready passport and a current list of countries that do not have extradition agreements with the United States! have I said too much?

Get some GABA at the healthfood store near you. It'll relax you.
