I don't recall the details, but I do remember it was due... if not overdue...
Yeah, it was due. I didn't post too much about it on CD - no point in subjecting myself to judgmental posters who know nothing about me, or the situation.
At any rate, we're going to remain friends. That's about all we were anyway, considering he lives in VA and I'm in TX. In the five months we were "boyfriend/girlfriend" we only spent two and a half weeks together.
There are a couple of posters here on CD that I find to be pretty interesting people.
Shame, probably never get to meet them.
You never know, a lot of us got here by checking out other places to live. I'm chained to SoFL for a bit longer but will break free in a year or so. If I ever travel to planet NEPA, hope to meet Phil...
By the way, I want to apologize to anyone that I may have offended last night...when I said "sappy pet people". I have many friends in that category, and I sure did not mean it in a derogatory manner.
No offense taken. I'm one of those who prefers the company of animals.
BTW, update, I mentioned yesterday that my lab/monkey/teddy bear mix was at the vet for a strange lump on her side. Vet removed it with no less than a 12 cm incision. She didn't even notice. Jumped right into the car. Ran and picked up her frisbee when we got home. Now just waiting on the path. Vet said he's never seen anything quite like it but edges were smooth and he took wide margins so fingers crossed. OK back to repping everyone!!!!

Well, aren't you a sweetheart?
Sure, drop on by - I'll show you the old coal mines filled with toxic sludge, then we can have a picnic near the river where even more mine sludge is discharging, then we can sit and watch the sunset through the filter of smog!
And after that, if we're still rarin' to go, we can stop by Stosh's Pierogie Emporium and get some 'rogies with melted butter sauce and a side of freshly-packed sausages.

Hi SifuPhil,
That sounds like a paradise of beautiful red sulfur-sphere sunsets and tangy, lemon flavor lakes where the fishing is easy, a fair city of molten slag eyes and whites tresses of wind braided smog. Her smoke stacks are like organ pipes singing softly and the birds she hails never leave the soot of her hands. I dream of relishing the grinds of Stosh's kiszka.
Where do you guys stand on married couples having joint email accounts? Keep it seperate, get a joint email?
