Unreasonable request. New sheets, maybe. New bed, heck no.

To me, geez the sheets gets changed a bed is a bed. No biggie IMO.
Seriously, Id laugh and tell that bi**h that she's crazy and give her two options: 1. Deal with it. or 2) Point her in the direction of the door and tell her to leave.

Its that simple. She's crazy to even request that.

Yeah. Any women who dare come into my house and make recommendations/requests that I get rid of something or make changes that SHE doesnt like will more than likely be dumped.

I agree. Her request for a new mattress is completely ridiculous. Buy some new sheets instead.

I've never been bothered by nonsense like used mattresses and sheets belonging to new boyfriends.

Next you won't be allowed to go to the restaurants and movie theatres you used to take your old girlfriend to. Maybe she'll want you to move to a new house too.

BTW I am assuming that you never discuss your old girlfriend with her and say how great she was.

Thanks all, hearing from some women around my age has been helpful, just re-enforced my original opinion.

I bet my husband and his new gf are sleeping on my bed just fine.....

Wow that thing was expensive and nice and roomy. I left and got to sleep on a hardwood floor with a few blankets. LOL> I imagine your honey could have it worse...
