Please keep it PG-13

My wife is going with me on a short business trip for the first time in a long time. She likes the city, enjoys the shopping, restraurants, but all she can talk about is some Hotel Lovin.

I understand when you have kids, etc. But our kids are long gone...

Is it just the ability to step away from the normal life?

Or because she won't wake the neighbors?

Anyone have the same thing happen to them?

Change of scenery is good for anyone. She is excited to be able to get away and enjoy time together with you in a different atmosphere. I say stop questioning why and bring your A game....and band-aids in case it gets rough!

Absolutely. Vacation sex is terrific. Maybe you dress a little nicer, maybe you got some nice underthings for the trip, you eat somewhere new, there is the excitement of a strange place. You could be anybody. Nobody's going to look at you the next morning in the grocery store and say, "Oh, you're that woman I saw making out in the taxicab. I'm telling all your neighbors and the PTA."

I agree with JJ, she could just be so tired of being home and now here she is OUT of the house, some new landscape, people, etc... - heck, I'm the same way about travel with my SO, can't wait to get down and do the deed at the hotel or be as naughty as he'll allow whilst there LOL

Lucky you! Getting away with the person you love is wonderful. The pressures of everyday life are left behind and you can just have fun. I'm so jealous! Enjoy!

A new environment can just be a nice change, rather stimulating.

Plus, hotels can have different features like ledges in showers or ottomans at certain height etc. that spur the imagination and can lead to new furniture purposes for your house. (My mother upon last visiting asked why I had moved a certain chair up to my bedroom....I told her it was for reading. lol)

Also, you tend to be well rested and not so run-down on vacations.

Good for you Augustabuckeye. Maybe take her on a few more business trips. Different atomsphere can spice things up a little for me too.

My wife and I spent the night at an inn on Cape Cod a few weeks back. Nothing happened.

I wish someone would explain these things to my wife.

Plus, you don't have to change the sheets in the hotel room when you get done! Bring some toys to play with also!!!
