That been advise in general but mainly regarding relationship issues.
Obviously a lot people on here (CD) listen to advice... good or bad. I know I do. But if a older more experienced person gives me advice, I'm more apt to take that advice with me. If they give me advice that they do not take themselves then I will not listen.
Bha ha ha ...
They should come here and share their troubles and concerns, vents, and questions. We all give great advice around here!
At least we TRY to.

I agree! I only ever give advice that I myself would take. Sometimes the answer seems simple until you put yourself in the other persons shoes...if you can imagine yourself in their situation and think of what you would do and give that advice then GREAT! Sometimes it can be a challenge.
OP...I like to listen to all the advice people give me, this way I can sort of think out of the box and come to my own conclusion as to what to do. I love advice though!
A few here have helped to keep my sanity together on various issues over time. I take what I want out of it and throw the rest out. On CD, there are 3 people's advice that I do trust explicitly, also, 3 specific people's advice that I wouldn't trust whatsoever if they were the last human being standing on Earth with me.
I don't think I have ever asked for advise, I know myself and what I have to do or not better or worse.
But I have read others opinions before on topics and sure, listening to others can open your mind.
Actually if all things typing my own thoughts is therapy sometimes. When you actually type and express something openly you may look at yourself differently than just keeping it inside. I think they call it "getting it off your chest".
