I found that phrasing odd too. But I think she means create an alias account.
And FB has all sorts of silly games that people play...Farmville is one of the more popular ones. I don't have time for them, but many people get totally hooked.

Bid on and won an auction on CharityBuzz for lunch with Kelly Bensimon only to then decided that I really don't want to have lunch with her after watching the RHONY reunion show. My only solace was that it went towards a charity.

(I have more friends than six. I just don't have friends who play farmville. Come to think of it, that's pretty pathetic too )

So what's your pathetic moment on line?

That's just funny!

I don't know if mine is pathetic, sad, or just evil.

I used to have a boss that treated me like dirt. He just had it out for me I think. So, I got into an argument with him and quit. He never paid me for my last week of work, so I got online and signed him up for every gay porn site that I could find. Good times...

...until my next employer had to call him for a work reference.

C'est la vie...

Haha, I understand completely.

What does it matter if you "know" us or not? I know you, you are cricket factor. You are interacting with people with something that obviously interests you someway. That is the beauty of the internet in part. There are certain topics that I get to engage here that some of my friends could care less about or are reserved to do so. And I engaging on a forum expands my ability to engage a person face to face at least that is what I have found.

If a topic got to you it means it mattered to you and there is no difference whether that person was online or sitting in front of you.

Anyway I'm going out to engage a pitcher of beer and shoot some pool so see ya soon.
I agree with cricket's response below. This was very sweet of you. I especially like the above bolded line.

Off to rep you guys, if I can...

That would be me. Pretty pathetic when you make up your own friends on facebook so you can move up on farmville .

I'm on the computer a lot and it's just a diversion. It just happens to be one that works on my lap top at school so that's the one I play. Plus you can walk away from it for days at a time. My niece got me into it. She's like the master plantation owner or something . Me, I can't come up with 8 neighbors .

It's not uncommon for people to play mindless games on the computer. Mine just happens to be farmville. Much easier than real gardening, lol.

He-he, not knowing (or even wanting to know) this perhaps makes me a little less pathetic. On the other hand, I'm approaching 20K posts that certainly make up for it!

Keeping your pathetic moments online only is better, though. I tend to take them offline and that wreaks more havoc.
