LaoTzu, there were documentaries made to dispel the "it's all in your head" thinking of white people. A person disguises into a black person and lives like one - have you not seen any of them? All these little tiny things that seem "in their head" come true - yes, the order takes longer, yes, the security follows you in the store etc etc. The subtle discrimination does exist, I find it strange to even argue about it.
