Just remembered something I read today. I guy STITCHED "I love you!" on one side of a heart-shaped pillow and "Will you marry me again?" on the other! Do ya even believe such a person exists?! Not that I particularly care for a guy into stitching (even though my ex-husband does have a sewing machine and actually knows how to use it ), but the gesture itself sounds almost unbelievable!
I used to visit my aunt at the beach in Florida every three months and one day while I was floundering on the beach for comfort, through a sea of people and kids, I noticed off in the distance this elderly couple, late 70's/80's if I had to guess, and they were standing together out on this sandbar with their backs to me and they reached their arms around each other, he leaned over and gave her a kiss and she responded by leaning her head against his arm that was around her waist.
They continued to just stand there arm in arm in arm looking over the waterscape and I could just feel I was in the presence of two people who had been together a great many years and still loved each other very much and weren't afraid to express it.

I love seeing elderly couples like this one, Thursday! Sometimes I wonder if they'll become extinct...
I really pray and hope that I will be apart of an elderly couple one day. I really want to be semi *gag* <--- as in what the young ppl should be thinking when I french kiss my hubby when we are covered in liver spots and wrinkles lol.

just cause they are senior citizens, doesnt mean this is an "old" relationship. it can be a new thing!
maybe they both had full lives, and this is their second wind

Some things you just know. Like I knew someone would come along and pee on that post, I just wasn't sure who.
