Yikes...I had to shop this afternoon and it was a nightmare! No clues at all? Has he given you any ideas?
That's the problem. He hasn't said a peep about what he wants or needs, or anything. He's around 38, and is an electrical engineer. Power tools don't excite him, nor do video games. So I'm preety much lost.
Go to a sporting goods store - there's alwasy unique stuff in them like telescopes, binocluars and stuff like that. Clocks that give you the time and temperature outside.
That might work. But heck, he gave me money for Christmas , so I think he actually wants a present or something. I don't know.
Then I think a gift certificate would be a good "trade." Maybe for a restaurant instead of a store, if he likes to go out and eat.
Does he collect anything?
Have any hobbies?
Like wines?
Does he use a computer a lot? Maybe some gadget to go along with that like an external hard drive...
Does he have an iPod or iPhone? If so, maybe an iTunes gift certificate.

I might have to drop by Academy Sports and Outdoors. Thanks for the suggestion Thursday.
