Okay...I am going to go wrap the last of the gifts. Only a few things left that just arrived on the front porch last night, (I had to hide them until the BF left this morning!). Will be a busy next 3 days with a LOT of food, I need to get some gym time in here shortly!!
Today my son turns 17 , it's my parents anniversary, we have a family Christmas buffet at my cousin's, candlelight service tonight at the church (my entire family - the ones that are local - pretty much all attend this one church, so I go a few times a year, and the candlelight service really is a beautiful service - some of my cousins will be singing too), then we'll go back over to my parents house afterward. The BF will go BACK home, and my son will go to his dad's tonight (I told him to do that so that he can be with his little half-siblings in the morning - more fun for the little ones!), so I'll be getting home late, and go to sleep in an empty house. I may just make myself a drinkie poo.
Christmas morning tomorrow, I have to bake a pound cake (actually I may do that today!) and sweet potato casserole, my son will be here around 11 or 12, the BF a little later, and then we head to my parents. My sis and her family will be there, and we'll open gifts and eat, or, if my mom has her say, eat, and then open gifts. It will probably be a late night!
Saturday - I have to go buy a couple of gifts for our annual Christmas party gift exchange (something totally irreverant - any suggestions?), make a dish to bring, and then get gussied up and hit the party that night.
Sunday, I intend to spend most of the day curled up in my BF's arms. Unless he goes to see his mom, and in that case, I'll just be enjoying the afterglow of Christmas, and relaxing at home.
No Ms. Chamataka you can burn those calories off on?
How about an antlered sheep
Funny you said Ms. Chamataka. I just patched up with her last night. We were having some issues and it was almost gonna wreck our Christmas
And that's a sheep. I'm exactly going to put my teeth on lamb tomorrow. My mom's home and my brother will be in a few hours. I have a scary drive to the airport tonight in the snow
She's gonna make the best Indian delicacy which is made of rice and boneless lamb pieces, with a lot of aromatic spices. It just makes me eat for a day
At least 4000 calories of eating today and tomorrow
