Please reverse that. Talk to the opposite sex. Start by just saying "hi" to every female you see, young or old, interesting or not. Do not make any excuses. Some will ignore you, that's fine, just keep on saying "hi".

Sorry, but if you have given up, it usually means, there is something wrong with you. I can't picture not having a person of the opposite sex in my life and thinking that is just OK, it just sounds so absurd! I broke up with my ex about 2 months ago and although I have a friend(a woman) I talk to everyday, I can't picture myself going more than a few months without a girlfriend. Even the whole "getting to know a new person" part of the game is very exciting. Not to mention not having sex and going to bed every night by yourself, you guys must be NUTS!
This sounds like the other extreme of the issue. My brother moves from one woman to the next, claims he doesnt like to be alone and never is, no matter what. It's not healthy either, imo...
I'm going to try and start up a business here soon...along with still having a full time job. I don't think I've given up, but I won't have time for it this summer.

I think I'm the opposite of you. My will is pretty good so I can hold out on the sex. At least until some woman gets too persuasive.
But summer is coming up and I want a woman for some trips and boat time. We should go halves on a girlfriend or something.
Honest to God, I don't understand how some find this exciting! Having to tell your life story over and over again to dozens of people just ain't my idea of fun!
I meant, I'll still get women when I go out but no strings attached. If they want to join me at my house, excellent. If not, then I can enjoy myself and my place without anyone giving me instructions (I already have my mum trying to do that sometimes).
