I'm very feminine, but I seem to be rather masculine in my personality. No, I don't burp and fart in public and then laugh about it, but I do tend to be aggressive and competitive and direct.

What does that make me?

Yeah, I don't fit in.

I don't wear dresses or skirts. I hate team sports with a passion, but I enjoy the outdoors and distance running. I bake/cook occasionally, but not any more or less than my husband does. I don't watch TV much at all...and I dislike, as you put it "action flicks" but I hate "chick flicks" too. I never, ever go to "salons" however I do know how to apply makeup. I'm not emotional. At all.

So what the hell am I?

I don't think I fit any of the profiles either. I am physically extremely feminine, wear only skirts and dresses, always go out wearing make up and perfume.

However I loathe shopping, am not domesticated in the slighted, hate cooking, cleaning etc.. ( though I do it), I have no interest in babies or children, do not like girly novels/films but neither do I like action films. I prefer intelligent Indie/Political satire Films. I have no girly friends either and would rather chew my own foot off than watch "sex and the city" or spend endless inane hours on the phone chatting to someone about shoes...

I have travelled around the world on my own, my travels also including trekking the Amazon and other out of the way places. I used to have a Pilot's license for a twin engine small aircraft and never felt I "needed" a man to prop me up for anything . One can be extremely feminine and still not a "girly girl".

I do not consider myself a Tomboy, do not swear and find things like team-sports about as dull as it can get. On the other hand I used to fish and hunt too...

I am simply me. A woman who is very feminine in many ways but still capable of skinning a Deer or a Rabbit, who smells good and loves intelligent discussions, reading, I am quite academic but also enjoy the outdoors and travelling is my passion. I hate wearing trousers , do not even own a pair of sneakers and yet do not somehow feel inferior to a man.

People always try to fit you in boxes and somehow always fail in my experience. Just the way that a man can be manly and still cry at films, and not love Football, porn or drinking...

I meant for a man's taste in women when it comes to their activities and likes as well as clothing style. But yeah if someone doesn't like you for who you are and expects you to act different then they're not right person for you.

I seen a talk show once and on a top list of what most men answered they like in a woman was none other than cooking. Next was a guy's poster from another site complaining about why women spend too much time shopping.

I don't fit none of these. So there always seems to be expectations and if you don't fit none of those, they get turned off.
