The hispanic and mexican community are close knit here, owners of a few great mexican eateries, what I've noticed is how they look out for one another. What race is mixing with what race is not something I take notice , diversity is good. If this satisfies your curiousity, my sons girlfriend is half mexican, her parents met on the west coast, so my grandchild is 1/4 mexican.

What kind of threads would you like to see or do you think are missing?

You don't see many threads specifically discussing Italian and Irish relationships. Just a thought.

Why do we need them? In Houston its quite common. Or were you looking for an answer sort of trollish like "Because they are acceptable minorities"

True, I just don't see any kinds of intercultural couples threads except for the most common ones (black/white, asian/white).

Damn near everyone in NJ who is not black, Latino or Asian is half Italian and half Irish, including our new Governor.

Well, my dad and his six brothers and sisters are all Hispanic and they all married Caucasians, so we can start with seven couples.

Well I haven't seen any threads for Native American/any race threads either. There's just too many intercultural couplings to name...not enough room in the forum.
