I can't tell you how lazy people are these days. They throw on any old thing to go out in public.
Men in sweat stained/oil stained pants...bleh. Women in yesterday's pajamas/sweatpants.
It doesn't take long to put on a clean, iron pair of pants and a sweater. Problem solved.

Reminds me of the men in the town I live in. Yeah, I'm serious!! Most do wear nasty, dingy, dirty clothes that they look like they never wash them. It sucks here, finding a good man.
I know. It doesn't take long to put a little effort in getting ready to leave the house (it takes me just 1 hour. What's an hour? Most places aren't open til after 11 anyway?!). Why not look good while you're waiting and look forward to getting there, right??

Some guys work for a living girls. Just a minute I'm going to put on my Tommy Hilfiger jeans to go to the auto parts store and work on my truck. Generally the guys who spend all day trying to stay clean don't have a job anymore? Like I said before this does not apply when going out on a date or whatever. You should try to look your best. YMMV
I love the fact my wife can wear jeans one day, then turn around and look like a million bucks dressed up the next.
It appears she wears dresses less often tho. Probably because I can't keep my hands off those mighty fine legs of hers. Sigh...
I find it very attractive, but it also makes me think that they have high standards that I might not qualify for, so I would be less inclined to approach/talk to them.

There's a girl in my office who is always dressed to the 9s. I've never seen her wear the same thing twice. She has a bag for every outfit, and hair and jewelry accessories. We call her the office fashion plate. I can imagine that she would probably scare a guy.
I always kind of dress funky, stylish and most of the time I find that as long as I have a happy friendly additude that I get a better response from people. Especially in a small town I stand out and people remember me. I find that people are even snapping my picture and turning around to look at me. I have made a lot of good friends from my local Walmart to DD and my local coffee shop. I do have to stress that you do need to wear a happy personality as well though
Interesting. It's hard to believe that less than 100 years ago that would've been considered dressing like a man and it's only been the past century that women started wearing pants. Personally, I'd be less than flattered if a man thought I looked better in men's clothes than more feminine ones. Maybe it depends on where you're from but where I'm from, men complain that women don't dress feminine enough, don't fix up enough, that they wear mostly jeans.
This is silly. Back then women wore corsets and wool swimsuits. They hid their legs and butt in layers of clothing.
100 years is a long time. Why wouldn't things change in a century?
