I don't think I've ever been described as intimidating.
My father on the hand, people are always intimidated by him. He looks like a big gangster...the one who takes care of the dirty work. We used to joke around that nobody would start with him in a dark alleyway, especially when he wore his trench coat. LOL
I'm not an open, warm, welcoming person. But I don't think it makes me "intimidating". I know that people that are huggers just seem to instinctively realize that I do NOT want to be touched, and when I was in the Navy, people would cross the street rather than pass close by me.
