I like a sense of humor. It helps to forget about a bad day you might have had at work and is great for stress. Like say Chris Farley? Man that guy was funny, and I have a friend that kind of looks like him and acts like it too. He never had any trouble meeting women. LOL.............
If there is one thing I can say postive about myself, it is that in real life I am really funny. I think if most of my friends could describe me in one word, it would be funny. I recently started hanging out with a guy from work (in a friendly way) and he told me that he is shocked that I am so funny because he didn't think that an attractive, straight women could be funny. Is that really a common idea that guys have?
People think I'm funny, too. Nobody makes me laugh harder than I do!

Laugh it up I say. A woman who can't laugh at the life around us is no woman I want around me...

Not exactly that.........just that when a woman is extremely attractive (and a man for that matter), you tend to concentrate too much on her looks rather than her sense of humor. I remember a few years ago watching an improv troupe that had one woman (Jane something or other) who was a stunning brunette. I don't remember what she did to make people laugh, but she got a huge ovation at the end of the show. I am sure she was funny - this troupe was very good - but her looks overshadowed her skills.
Most extremely funny people (great comedians, etc) I have seen are average-looking or even goofy. Some are downright ugly. I think a lack of looks contributes to the development of a sense of humor. I have firsthand experience of this.

Alot of women seem to lack a sense of humour, to be honest. Like they take themselves too seriously (I think of nagging housewives on sitcoms, granted their hubbies are sometimes douchebags, or ice queens on some of those daytime soaps - I know, they're just characters). I do think women can be just as funny as men if they let go, and not be afraid of looking silly. Why is it the guy gets to goof around, but women have to play the 'straight' part?
