Recently I found out there was actually a one-seat car - how perfect for the current state of relationships! I was just joking with somebody and it turned out it exists!
I like the Nissan and Dodge pickups myself, as far as the look goes.
Dodges are nice too. A couple of my buddies drive them. They have good power and tons of cab room. Do you guys remember this 1950 Mercury that Sly was driving in Cobra? It had a Hurst converted to the floor shifter and Nos? It was a very cool car and one of my favorites, check it out. Rugged knows cars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjYE-CTMcv8
If he is like 99.9% of all guys, he doesn't care what you do, or don't drive. He is "lonly" for human conact and conversation--he was just trying to be friendly and conversational.

I was perfectly willing to be the guys friend, I could tell he was new to dating, he's been divorced for two years but had to move in with his ex to help with his daughters after he lost his job. His ex was pregnant when they divorced. It wasn't just that he wanted to know what I drove, it's that he made a point of telling me what he drove. I finally had to block his emails because he wouldn't stop asking if he could come over and wouldn't back off. It was starting to get creepy.

aha--his talk about the car was just talk (yay I was right--first time this year LOL) too bad he is still ND (newly divorced) infected after 2 years.
per OP
yes unfortunately for many it does.
more sad is that a car is a poor indicator of real wealth, go look at all the late model luxury cars in front of the local laundry mat. not very well cared for either.

It is a stupid, lame indicator of wealth. I know quite a few wealthier people who don't drive fancy cars....I am one of them. I have no debts and millions in the bank--I drive a 7 year old Ford Ranger. ...besides after someone has "enough"/, friendship, love, fun, and laughter are based on other things.
