surely this guy had a life before you met him. But you need to loosen up and quit worrying about a vibrating phone.

I'm so glad a few posters came along with reasonable explanations,
Kryst I'd hate for the OP to spend the Holidays thinking everyone on CD thought she was delusional.

Maybe the boyfriend just wants to give the OP his undivided attention. Hey I am trying to be positive, but if it were me I would think he has something to hide, but i've been burned once or twice, so I suspicious. The boyfriend could be up to nothing...But

women check BF phones frequently. we seem to have a double standard when it comes
to dating.
I'd never check anyone's phone... that's as bad as rooting through someone's wallet or their mail

If I were "dating" someone and they even hinted at checking my phone....it would be the last date....

I have been married for 15 years....and I have NEVER seen the inside of my wife purse nor the calls on her cellphone...nor has she mine......[wallet since I dont carry a purse lol]

Twenty eight years here and the only time I go in my wife's purse is if I need her car keys for something, and even then I'll usually just bring the purse to her and let her try to find them. She's the same with my wallet.

As far as the cell phone goes, we'll answer each other's if the user of the one that rings is elsewhere in the house. Check for numbers dialed or messages? Never.

I do some stuff that means I have to be contactable much of the time, it seems that it's always been that way, so dates being interupted by phone calls was SOP when we were dating and I was on call much of the time.

Wonder if the OP's boyfriend' computer is password protected?

The OP hasn't returned to the thread, she gave no details or indication of relationship problems, but could have good reason for the question.

All the media attention on Tiger Woods, I heard a commentator on TV make the remark to the affect that this will effect alot of men, it most likely has and will. So, lets blame Tiger Woods.

When I was dating my last girlfriend, I would often put my phone on silent. No, it wasn't because I would get calls from creepers, it was because I didn't want to interrupt our time together.

I've never heard of "invisible calls" or whatever. I know one of my older phones would vibrate and not have anything on the screen if the battery was low.

Unless this guy is good with reverse psychology, I doubt you have anything to worry about with this particular situation. However, if you're paranoid about this because of other things your boyfriend has done, then you may want to talk to him. If you're just paranoid for no reason, you may want to get help.

Per the OP's previous threads, there are relationship issues...including her boyfriend feeling like she is limiting his freedom, insecurities, etc.
