I'm exactly the same. I don't look nearly as bad "in real" than in my photos. It makes it worse that I hate having my photo taken and then my face always looks horrible. Don't know how to smile either. As the previous poster said, with me the skin tone doesn't come out well, I have shadows, blotches, and everything else wrong in photos, which for some odd reason aren't even there in reality

I'm very photogenic. In fact, oddly enough, one of the best pictures I ever had taken was my driver's license picture a number of years ago.

Not sure, but someone I know works high up in fashion and she often compliments my photos, so guess I must be.

There are people who look damn hot in pictures, and there are people who look ****ty in them. I'd rather look good in person than in a picture
I know someone who looks REALLY adorable in pictures, but not so much in person ( just average to me ).

This can often be very true.

I hate pictures. I never look good in them. I have chipmunk cheeks and when I smile my eyes almost completely disappear.

That depends on too many things - angle, lighting, quality of the camera, quality of the photographer... IMO the photographer probably matters the most. In other words, don't be bummed, picklejuice.

I'd say I'm about 50/50. Some "staged" photos are good, others not so good. Most of my good pics are the one's I'm not posing for - such as my competition pics when the photogs are just snapping random pics of the dancers. But my mom has some candid pics of me that are atrocious!!! Tjose are the ones she puts on her scanner and enlarges to make fun of me. (In a good way though - not mean spirited.)

What about you?
I'm not really that photogenic, at least hopefully, I'm not that dippy looking.

Mrs. Chow just chimed in and said that I'm not very photogenic.

Of course what else is she gonna say.
