If it were me, I would just drop the whole movie idea altogether. IMO, you need to go somewhere you can talk to her, and the movies are not a place for that. The coffee shop or ice cream parlor (or even a walk in the park) is an opportunity get her away from work and to a low pressure place where you two can talk freely.
Work is pretty stressful at times, and I'm not usually at my best even when she's around. But, she's really open to going to movies and I'm pretty much familiar with her already. But yeah, I understand what you are saying. I'm going to call her later on and go from there.
Do you still have any drive thru movie places around you? Those are so much fun if you have one. A twist for movie lovers. You can talk all you want in the car.

It's not the venue, it's whether or not you use that venue to communicate what you want to get across.
You don't want to go spending a huge amount of money when you aren't sure how she feels about you. Dinners at fancy restaurants at this stage will put way too much pressure on both of you. And the movies hardly give you a chance to talk.

No one is advocating him taking a female out to a fancy restaurant though. Lol I think we both agree that he needs to get it in gear asap. All those suggestions are good ones
